Our Nursery class is for students who are 2 and older, having turned 2 by September 1, 2016. In this pre-Montessori class the students learn to build their fine motor skills by early writing push-pin practice. The children learn one to one correspondence, identifying and naming colors in Russian and English, number and letter puzzles, beading, identifying numbers on a clock, matching and other important academic skills. This classroom is Russian immersion, with circle times, discussion and learning accommodating native Russian, Hebrew and English speakers. In the Nursery room is where our children learn independence in toileting, self-care, and robust communication skills. Morah Alona engages the children with creative projects and inventive activities making our Nursery room a place of growth and discovery!
